The VF1000D display fridge, 100 cm is the entry model in the range: one metre of display space at +2/+8 °C, with a flat front, in a 90 cm wide body that fits even in small shops. Underneath, 94 cm of storage space for the day's stock.

A flat front takes half the time to clean

The flat glass of the VF1000D series is a continuous surface, with no curve and no areas a cloth can't reach. In a shop where the display fridge is wiped down several times a day, the difference is felt every shift. The same logic applies to the interior: the food-grade stainless steel has a smooth, chemically neutral surface that retains no residue and withstands professional cleaning agents without deteriorating.

If you prefer a curved front for a wider viewing angle from the aisle, the same display fridge is available as the VF1000, with curved glass.

The top surface used as display space

Being flat, the straight glass gives you a usable surface right on top of the display fridge. Many retailers use it for lightweight impulse products — sweets, confectionery, chewing gum, small items — right where customers are already queuing. In practice, you gain an extra linear metre of display space without taking up a single additional centimetre of floor space.

The surface is intended for lightweight merchandise, not as a work surface or for supporting heavy loads.

Operating temperature: +2/+8 °C

Cooling is static, by natural convection: cold air descends over the products, warm air rises towards the evaporator, and the cycle repeats. There is no fan in the display area — the only fan cools the refrigeration unit's condenser. The result: quiet operation, low energy consumption and merchandise that is not subjected to a draught. Defrosting is automatic and static, and the temperature is set and read on the digital thermostat.

What you can and cannot display

Yes: cold cuts, salami, ham, processed meat products, packaged cheeses and dairy, vacuum-packed or pre-packaged meat, packaged salads and ready-to-cook products, any product stored at +2/+8 °C.

No: unwrapped fresh meat, minced meat, offal, unwrapped poultry, fish on ice, frozen goods. Storage below the display area

The compartment underneath measures 94 × 55 × 25 cm and is accessed through 1 door. This is where you keep stock for the current shift — one metre of display fridge gives you one metre of reserve, right at the point of sale.

Before ordering, check the width of the doors and the corridor through which the display fridge will pass, and allow a minimum of 10 cm clear space at the back for condenser ventilation.

First hours after delivery

Leave the display fridge upright for a few hours before switching it on for the first time, to allow the compressor oil to settle, then level it using the adjustable feet. Thereafter: clean with neutral detergents, check the condenser periodically, keep the drain clear and ventilation grilles unobstructed. Usage and maintenance instructions.

Weight, warranty and delivery

The display fridge weighs approximately 80 kg, so unloading and positioning in the shop requires two people. Check the access route in advance: door widths, any thresholds and manoeuvring space at corners.

12-month warranty. If a fault occurs during the warranty period, we ship the replacement part directly to the buyer so that the display fridge can be returned to service quickly, without transporting the unit to a service centre. Full terms are in the warranty terms.
