The VF1000 display fridge at 400 cm is the longest configuration in the series, featuring four doors providing access to the storage compartment. Four metres of uninterrupted display under curved glass, at +2/+8 °C, for supermarkets and cash & carry outlets. At this length, the access route and the electrical connection point should be planned during the fit-out stage.

Two functions in one footprint

The display fridge solves two things at once: it displays merchandise across 400 cm of curved glass frontage and, underneath, provides a storage compartment of almost the same length, 25 cm in height. In a shop where every square metre has a monthly cost, the space beneath the fridge is no longer wasted.

Temperature range and its limits

The fridge operates at +2/+8 °C, with static cooling via natural convection and no fan inside the cabinet — the only fan cools the refrigeration unit's condenser. This is exactly the right range for cold cuts, cheeses, packaged dairy and vacuum-packed meat.

For the same reason, it is not suitable for unwrapped fresh meat, minced meat, offal, unwrapped poultry, fish on ice or frozen products: these require humidity control and stricter temperature thresholds. Request a quote for a butcher shop display fridge and we will recommend the right model.

Why curved glass

The curve widens the viewing angle so that products are visible from the side as well as from the front, while the continuous surface gives the fridge the classic deli counter look. The same fridge with a straight front is the VF1000D.

Food-grade materials

The interior is made from food-grade stainless steel: chemically neutral, with no transfer of taste or odour, and a smooth surface that can be sanitised quickly. The exterior combines painted steel with toughened glass on the front. LED lighting renders the colours of cold cuts and cheeses accurately without introducing heat gain into the cabinet.

Installation and maintenance

Connects to a standard single-phase outlet. After transport, leave the unit upright for several hours before switching on for the first time and level it using the adjustable legs. Leave a minimum of 10 cm free at the back and sides for condenser ventilation. Routine maintenance: clean with neutral detergents, check the condenser periodically, keep the drain clear. Weight, warranty and delivery

The display fridge weighs approximately 250 kg, so unloading and positioning in the shop requires two people. Check the access route in advance: door widths, any thresholds and, if necessary, manoeuvring space at corners.

12-month warranty. Should a fault occur during the warranty period, we dispatch the replacement part directly to the buyer so that the fridge can be returned to service quickly, without shipping the unit to a service centre. Full terms are set out in the warranty terms.
