At 250 cm, the VFX1000 allows you to divide the section by category — cold cuts, cheeses, vacuum-packed products — within the same cabinet and at the same temperature. The 60 cm depth means you can display products in two rows without items at the back becoming invisible.

What you gain from the 102 cm width

Standard horizontal display fridges in our range have a 90 cm wide body and 55 cm of usable display depth. The VFX1000 goes to 102 cm wide with 60 cm of usable display depth. The 5 cm difference in display depth may seem small on paper, but it means an additional row of products across the full length of the cabinet — at 250 cm, that is a real increase in displayed stock without a single extra linear metre of floor space.

The trade-off is worth stating honestly: the cabinet occupies 12 cm more in depth on the floor, so the aisle in front of it narrows by 12 cm. Measure it before ordering, especially if the fridge is positioned on a through-passage rather than against a wall.

Cold circulation by natural convection

Cooling is static: cold air produced by the evaporator is denser, sinks over the products, warms up and rises back towards the evaporator. The cycle closes through natural convection and maintains a uniform temperature throughout the cabinet. There is no fan in the display area — the only fan in the unit cools the refrigeration unit's condenser. This results in quiet operation and the absence of an airflow that would dry out the surface of sliced cold cuts.

The digital thermostat displays the cabinet temperature and controls the refrigeration unit's cycles; defrosting is fully automatic and static.

Stock stored beneath the displayed goods

Beneath the display area, the cabinet features a storage compartment measuring 244 × 60 × 25 cm — the same depth as the display area, 6 cm shorter than the cabinet overall. On the 250 cm model it is accessed via 2 doors. As part of the wide-body range, this compartment is also 5 cm deeper than on standard 90 cm cabinets, allowing more boxes per row.

• Toughened glass at the front, curved or straight, also acting as a thermal barrier.
• Interior shelf of 20 cm depth, for sliced and portioned products.
• LED lighting with accurate colour rendering for food products, adding no heat to the cabinet interior.
• Built-in refrigeration unit running on R290 — plugs into a standard socket.
• Adjustable feet — for levelling on uneven floors and raising the unit by approximately 5 cm.

Leave a minimum of 10 cm clearance at the rear and sides for condenser ventilation. Keep the cabinet away from direct sunlight, heat sources and draughts from access doors or air conditioning units.

Installation and maintenance

Delivered ready for use. After transport, leave the unit upright for several hours before first start-up, then level using the adjustable feet. Routine maintenance: clean with neutral detergents, periodically check the condenser and the defrost water drain. Full instructions.

Weight, warranty and delivery

The cabinet weighs approximately 150 kg. As part of the wide-body range at 102 cm, before delivery check not only the width of access doorways but also the manoeuvring space at corners and along corridors. Unloading and positioning requires two people.

12-month warranty. Should a fault occur during the warranty period, we dispatch the replacement part directly to the customer so the cabinet can be returned to service quickly, without the need to transport the unit to a service centre.
