In a single linear metre, the VFX1000 display fridge, 100 cm gives you 60 cm of usable display depth — 5 cm more than a standard display fridge of the same length. It is the option for small shops that want to display a full assortment without occupying two metres of counter space.

What you gain from the 102 cm width

Standard horizontal display fridges in our range have a 90 cm wide body and 55 cm of usable display depth. The VFX1000 goes to 102 cm wide and 60 cm usable depth. The 5 cm difference in display depth seems small on paper, but it means an extra row of products along the entire length of the unit — at 100 cm, that is a real increase in displayed merchandise without a single extra linear metre of counter space.

The trade-off is worth stating honestly: the unit takes up 12 cm more depth on the floor, so the aisle in front of it narrows by 12 cm. Measure it before ordering, especially if the fridge is placed on a through-aisle rather than against a wall.

Cold air that circulates on its own

Cooling is static: the cold air produced by the evaporator is denser, descends over the merchandise, warms up and rises back towards the evaporator. The cycle closes through natural convection and maintains a uniform temperature throughout the cabinet. There is no fan inside the display space — the unit's only fan cools the condenser of the refrigeration unit. This results in quiet operation and the absence of an airflow that would dry out the surface of sliced cold cuts.

The digital thermostat displays the cabinet temperature and controls the refrigeration unit cycles, while defrosting is carried out automatically and statically.

Stock stored beneath the displayed product

Below the display zone, the fridge has a storage compartment measuring 94 × 60 × 25 cm — the same depth as the display zone, 6 cm shorter than the fridge itself. On the 100 cm model it is accessed via 1 door. Being part of the wide-body series, this compartment is also 5 cm deeper than on the 90 cm fridges, so more boxes fit per row.

Leave at least 10 cm free at the rear and sides for condenser ventilation. Keep the fridge away from direct sunlight, heat sources and draughts from entrance doors or air conditioning units.

Installation and maintenance

Delivered ready for use. After transport, leave upright for a few hours before first start-up, then level using the adjustable legs. Routine maintenance: clean with neutral detergents, periodically check the condenser and the defrost water drain. Full instructions.

Weight, warranty and delivery

The fridge weighs approximately 80 kg. As this is the wide-body series at 102 cm, before delivery check not only the width of access doors but also the manoeuvring space at corners and along corridors. Unloading and positioning require two people.

12-month warranty. Should a fault occur during the warranty period, we dispatch the replacement part directly to the buyer so the fridge can be returned to service quickly, without the need to transport the unit to a service centre. Full terms are set out in the warranty terms and conditions.
