VFX1000 at 300 cm is the configuration for large departments, featuring three doors providing access to the storage space beneath the display area. At this length, internal logistics matter just as much as display: stock sits directly below the merchandise and is accessible from three points.

Static Cooling at +2/+8 °C: What It Means in Practice

In a static-cooling display fridge, cold air circulates on its own. The cold air produced by the evaporator is denser than warm air, descends over the products, warms up, and rises back toward the evaporator. There is no fan in the display area — the unit's only fan cools the condenser of the refrigeration unit. For sliced cold cuts, cheeses, and vacuum-packed products, the absence of a constant airflow means merchandise that does not dry out on the surface and packaging that does not lift at the edges.

Temperature is set and read on the digital thermostat display. Defrosting is automatic and static, requiring no staff intervention and no defrost heater.

Wide 102 cm Body

VFX1000 is the wide-body series: 102 cm external width and 60 cm usable depth in the display area, compared with 90 cm and 55 cm on the VF1000 and VF1000D series. The result is more merchandise visible per linear metre of shelf space. However, the unit extends 12 cm further into the aisle — a dimension to verify before ordering, along with the width of the doorways through which the equipment will pass when entering the store.

Construction

The interior is made from food-grade stainless steel: chemically neutral, with no transfer of taste or odour, and a smooth surface that sanitises quickly and withstands professional cleaning agents. The curved or straight tempered-glass front provides full visibility and contributes to thermal insulation. LED lighting renders food colours accurately, consumes little energy, and adds no heat to the cabinet interior. The refrigeration unit is built in, uses R290 refrigerant, and the feet are height-adjustable.

Storage Compartment

Below the display surface is a stock space measuring 294 × 60 × 25 cm, accessible through 3 doors. It shares the same depth as the display area and is 6 cm shorter than the overall unit length. On the wide-body series, the 60 cm depth means more boxes fit side by side than in a 55 cm compartment.

Yes: cold cuts, salami, ham, processed meat products, packaged cheeses and dairy, vacuum-packed or pre-packaged meat, packaged salads and semi-prepared foods, any product stored at +2/+8 °C.

Allow a minimum of 10 cm of free space at the rear and sides for condenser ventilation.

Operation

After transport, leave the unit upright for several hours before first start-up to allow the compressor oil to settle, then level it using the adjustable feet. Lengths & Customisation

The series covers 100–400 cm, with 1, 2, 3, or 4 access doors to the storage compartment depending on length. Custom configurations are also available, with a lead time of 7–10 working days.

Weight, Warranty & Delivery

The unit weighs approximately 200 kg. As this is the wide-body series at 102 cm, before delivery check not only the width of access doorways but also the manoeuvring space at corners and along corridors. Unloading and positioning require two people.
