Compressor Capacitor 75+15 µF – CBB65 Dual Run Capacitor

The 75+15 µF capacitor is a CBB65-class dual motor capacitor: two sections in a single aluminium can. The large 75 µF section serves the compressor motor, while the small 15 µF section serves the fan motor – the compact solution used in condensing units, air conditioners and commercial refrigeration equipment with single-phase PSC motors.

The self-healing metallized polypropylene film construction ensures low internal losses and long service life. Connection is made through the three standard terminals: C (common), HERM (compressor) and FAN (fan). In the refrigeration parts trade this part is commonly called a start capacitor – technically it is a run capacitor, permanently connected in the motor circuit.
